Help The following information is for PC's as well as Macintosh computers. We assume you have Win95, Win98, WinME, WinNT, WinXP, or Win2000 on your PC and MAC O/S 8.0 or higher on your MAC. A special note is that with Win98, Win98 Second Edition, WinXP, or Win2000 has everything needed to listen to the show out of the box. If you are having trouble listening to the live show or trouble listening to archived shows then I recommend downloading the latest versions of your browser and the media player.* (See note at the bottom) In order to listen you will need Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher. We suggest you have the latest version for the PC as well as the MAC. Internet Explorer can be downloaded free from Microsoft. You may also use Netscape version 4.2 or later. It is also free at Netscape's Homepage. You should have at least 500 megabytes free on your hard drive before downloading. If you double click "My Computer" and then double click your "C" drive you can see how much free space you have. On a MAC you should be able to double click your hard drive icon on the right and see how much free space you have. You will also need to download the latest version of Windows Media Player. This is also free from Microsoft as it is a part of their Netshow Service Tools. The link on the right side of this page will take you directly to the download site from Microsoft to get Windows Media Player. It will determine which platform you are running on (i.e. a PC or a MAC, IE or Netscape) and download the correct player. In order to download the latest version you must already have Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Netscape 4.2 or higher. Modem speed is 56k, Cable, or DSL. During the installation of Windows Media Player it will ask you for your modem speed so it is helpful to know this information a head of time. Thank you, Talkin' Sports 2000 Support
* If you are having trouble listening and you think you have the latest versions of everything then do the following in Windows Media Player: Click on Tools, then Options, then File Types. In the File Types list make sure the top three are checked. This includes files with asf, asx, wm, wmx, wmp, wma, wax, wmv, and wmx. Click OK, close the media player and reload the website's homepage during a live broadcast, or click OK and close the media player then click on any previously recorded archived show to listen.
